GREENVILLE, S.C. - Sophomore sprinter
Allea Graves of the Malone University track & field team has been named the NCCAA Athlete of the Week for her performance on-track at the VertKlasse Meeting at High Point University.
Graves, a native of Canton, Ohio, scored a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter event with a time of 55.71 seconds to highlight her weekend. Graves was also 11th in the 200-meter dash (24.79 seconds) and 15th in the 100-meter dash (12.36 seconds). She was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished 13th overall at the event with a mark of 3:59.72. In the NCCAA, Graves is third in the 100, second in the 200, first in the 400 and that is the only 4x400-meter relay time under four minutes in the association.
