Biography

2016-17: Brashears finished third at the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.52 seconds. During the indoor track season, he also had career bests in the 60 meter (7.07 seconds) and the long jump (6.66 meters). During the outdoor season, he placed first in the triple jump at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational with a distance of 13.69 meters. He also competed in the 100 meter dash, with a career best time of 11.14 seconds and the 200 meter dash, with a best time of 23.19 seconds. He won the G-MAC Men's Athletes of the Year Award, along with teammates Ashton Dulin and Duke Taylor, in both the Indoor and Outdoor seasons.
