The Pioneers have registered a 6-8 record in 14 all-time meetings with the Dragons.  The last four meetings between the two schools have been decided by six points or less, including last year's match-up in which Tiffin prevailed 23-21 at Frost-Kalnow Stadium.  MU is 4-3 all-time against Tiffin in games played in Canton.

Coaches:   
MaloneEric Hehman is in his sixth season as the Pioneers' head coach and has tallied an 11-45 record at Malone.  Prior to arriving in Canton, Hehman spent the previous five years as the head coach at NCAA Division III Greenville (IL) College where he led the Panthers to a 28-22 record and a berth in the 2009 NCCAA Victory Bowl.
TiffinGary Goff is in his fifth year as the head coach of the Dragons and has posted an 11-33 record at Tiffin.  Prior to becoming TU's head coach, Goff had most recently served as the offensive coordinator at West Virginia Wesleyan University, helping the Bobcats improve from a 2-8 season in 2009 to a 9-2 mark in 2010.  Goff's coaching resume also includes previous assistant positions at Princeton University and New Mexico State University.

Construction at Benson Stadium: As part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's HOF Village Project, Tom Benson Stadium will undergo substantial renovations throughout the 2015 season.  All fans (from both the home & visiting teams) must enter through Gates 7 & 8 located adjacent to McKinley High School.  All other entrances will be closed to the public.  Click here for more information and a map of the construction areas.

Malone Notes: The Pioneers fell  on to the road to Wayne State University this past Saturday by a final score of 56-21…Malone pulled in front 21-14 with under four minutes to play in the second quarter…However, the Warriors tied it up just before intermission and then racked up 35 points in the second half to pull away for the victory…The Pioneers have delivered  several big plays in the passing game this year and are currently tied for second in the GLIAC with an average of 15.6 yards per completion…MU currently leads the conference in red zone TD percentage, having crossed the goal line on six of seven trips inside its opponents' 20 yard-line…All five of the Pioneers' turnovers this season have occurred inside Malone's own 40 yard-line…Opponents have scored a combined total of 28 points off these turnovers through the Pioneers' first three games.

Malone players to watch:  RB Matt Blasiole piled up a career-high 120 rushing yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's contest, including a 65-yard dash to the endzone that gave the Pioneers the lead in the second quarter…On the season, the sophomore has tallied 234 rushing yards on 62 attempts with five touchdowns…Blasiole currently shares the conference lead for rushing touchdowns with two other players and his average of 78 yards per game is the eighth highest in the GLIAC…Freshman WR Ashton Dulin crossed the goal line on a 13-yard end-around play last Saturday and  has now scored a TD in each of his first three games…Dulin has picked up 63 rushing yards on just five attempts (12.6 average) this season while also snagging eight catches for 198 yards (24.8 average)….QB Will Szpor has completed 32 of 54 pass attempts (59.3%) for 514 yards and three scores…WR Eian Elsass tallied five catches for a career-high 100 yards vs. Wayne State…On the season, Elsass has registered a team-high 14 catches for 219 yards and a score…LB Ryan Weber has posted double-digit tackles in two straight games and currently leads the team (ranks fifth in the GLIAC) with 29 stops on the year…DB Lucas Haupt follows with 25 total tackles

Tiffin Notes: The Dragons opened the season with a 34-13 victory over Walsh University and a 40-0 shutout of Saginaw Valley State University before suffering a narrow 48-44 defeat last week at the University of Findlay…Tiffin and Findlay combined for over 1300 yards and 60 first downs in the shootout…The Dragons led 37-28 late in the third quarter before a pair of turnovers helped Findlay pull ahead…Tiffin twice drove inside Findlay's 20-yard line in the fourth quarter, but each time the Oiler defense came up with a stop on fourth down, preserving the win for UF…The Dragon offense ranks among the GLIAC's Top Three in numerous statistical categories including points (39.3), total yards (589.0), passing yards (333.7), rushing yards (255.3) and first downs (27.3) per contest…Despite last week's high-scoring affair, the Tiffin defense has yielded the third-fewest points (61) and fifth-fewest yards (356.3 per game) in the conference.

Tiffin players to watch: QB Antonio Pipkin has had an outstanding start to his sophomore campaign…The dual-threat signal caller currently ranks second amongst NCAA Division II football players in total offense, accounting for an average of 480 yards per game…Pipkin piled up 234 rushing yards in last week's contest at Findlay and currently leads the GLIAC (ranks seventh in the nation) in rushing with 443 yards on 45 carries (9.3 average) and five rushing touchdowns…He also ranks among the GLIAC leaders in numerous passing categories, having completed 63 of 92 attempts (68.5%) in Tiffin's "Air Raid" offense for 997 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception….WRs Charles Holland and Pedro Correa have been Pipkin's top targets, both averaging over 115 receiving yards per contest… Holland has pulled in 20 catches for 348 yards and three scores while Correa has snagged 18 catches for 346 yards and three TDs…RBs Jerry Brown and Chris Watkins each average over four yards per carry….DL Jalen Randolph has made 18 total tackles on the year with 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks…DBs Johnny Joseph and Derek Calderon have also made 18 stops apiece…K Tomislav Derezic has connected on all seven of his field goals this season with a long of 48 yards.
