The Malone University men's golf team fired a second-round score of 294 on Sunday afternoon to earn a second-place finish at Tiffin University's Kyle Rymann Memorial Tournament.
The Pioneers, who entered the day in third place after carding a score of 303 on Saturday, tallied a two-day total of 597. Tiffin's "B" team claimed the team title, edging Malone by two strokes with a 595. The Dragon "A" squad was third with a 598

Jake Troyer shot a four-under-par 68 on Sunday to earn medalist honors with a two-day total of 142. The performance marked the third tournament victory for Troyer through four events this fall.
Senior
Isaac Haver was next for the Pioneers, placing sixth overall with a 149 (72-77). Junior
Cody Mast tied for 12th with a 153 (81-72) followed by sophomore
Kyle Barnett who tied for 14th with a 154 (77-77) and sophomore
Jacob English, who tied for 23rd with a 157 (80-77).
Malone will wrap up its fall schedule by competing in the Phipps Memorial Tournament at Alliance Country Club on October 19th.
