Malone University To Discontinue Men’s And Women’s Intercollegiate Tennis Programs

Malone University and the Malone Athletics Department have announced that, effective at the conclusion of the current spring season, the Malone men's and women's intercollegiate tennis programs will be discontinued.  The discontinuation of these two intercollegiate Pioneer programs will now put the current total of intercollegiate programs at the University at 18 (previously 20).

The current Malone tennis teams, led by third-year head coach Brian Mogus, will complete the current spring season.   The women's team only has two matches remaining, as their primary season is in the fall, while the men's squad has nine spring regular-season matches remaining including the final regular-season match at Wayne State University (MI) on April 13th.
