The Malone University men's soccer team is still searching for their first GLIAC win of the season after falling to Northwood University (MI) 1-0 on Sunday.

Malone allowed the first and only goal of the game in the 12th minute to Gino Pasquali. In the 20th minute, Northwood's Laurence McKay received a red card to put Malone up a man for the remaining 70 minutes.

The Pioneers threatened the rest of the way forcing the Northwood keeper into eight saves, but could not find the equalizer.

Malone outshot Northwood 16-11 for the game. Senior Rubem Miranda led the way with three shots, while Malone keeper Felipe Monteiro made three saves.
