Match Results

The Malone University men's tennis team lost a 7-1 non-conference contest on the road to the College of Wooster on Wednesday evening.  With the loss, the Pioneers fell to 0-2 overall on the fall season while the Fighting Scots improved to 1-0 in their first dual match of the fall campaign.

Trevor Bowers captured the lone victory for Malone on the night as he tallied a decisive 6-4, 6-0 win at #1 singles.

Bowers and Steffan Dwarkasingh came the next closest to pulling out a win for Malone as they dropped a narrow 9-8 contest to their #2 doubles foes.  Youssef ElSonbaty and Putneet Sharma, at #1 doubles, also gave their opponents a tough match in an 8-5 loss.
ElSonbaty's #2 singles match went unfinished due to darkness.

Today's contest for the Pioneer men closes out their fall campaign as they now prepare for their primary season, with plenty of GLIAC conference competition, in the spring.
