The Malone University men's tennis team lost a 9-0 decision on the road Friday to GLIAC opponent Ohio Dominican University. With the loss, the Pioneers dropped to 8-12 overall and to 1-5 in the GLIAC while ODU improved to 7-8 overall and to 3-4 in conference play.

In doubles, the #1 team of Youssef ElSonbaty and Nate Davis pushed their Panther opponents to the limit but fell just shy of victory in a 9-7 loss.

In singles, the Panthers were able to take all six matches in straight sets although Davis, at #2, battled to a tough 6-4, 6-3 loss.

Malone will next compete at the University of Findlay in a 2:00 p.m. match tomorrow (Saturday).
