Pioneers Roll To 7-2 Home Victory Over Lake Erie

The Malone University men's tennis team earned a 7-2 victory over visiting GLIAC opponent Lake Erie College at the Green Tennis Club in Green, Ohio Friday afternoon. The win lifted the Pioneers' record to 8-8 overall on the season and to 1-2 in the GLIAC. Lake Erie fell to 1-7 overall and to 0-2 in GLIAC play.

In singles, Nate Davis (#2), Vladyslav Dyenyezhka (#3), Alex Steinmetz (#4), Steffan Dwarkasingh (#5) and Andrew Hill (#6) earned the wins.

In doubles, Youssef ElSonbaty and Davis teamed for victory at #1 while Dwarkasingh and Steinmetz claimed a win at #3.

Malone will next compete in a non-conference match at Ohio Northern University on Tuesday (March 26) at 3:30 p.m.
