The Malone University men's tennis team is still in search of its first GLIAC win in the early going of the 2013 spring season after falling to Michigan Tech University 9-0 on Monday. The loss dropped the Pioneers to 0-3 on the season and to 0-2 in GLIAC play while MTU stayed perfect on the season at 8-0 (3-0 in the GLIAC).
For the second consecutive match,
Nate Davis was the closest to securing a point for Malone. Playing in the #2 singles spot, Davis took the first set 7-5 before falling 6-2 in the second set and losing the decisive third set tiebreaker.

Youssef ElSonbaty also threatened the Huskies but eventually fell 8-4.
