The Malone University women's basketball team allowed a two-point halftime deficit to swell to as many as 17 points in the second half as the Pioneers fell on the road to the University of Findlay 67-55 on Saturday night.
Malone (10-8 overall, 6-8 GLIAC) was undone by a six minute and six second scoreless drought from the sixteen minute mark to the ten minute mark of the second stanza. However, Findlay's Kayla Brown would stop the bleeding by connecting on a free-throw line jumper to push the Oilers' (14-4 overall, 11-3 GLIAC) lead back to double digits.
