The Malone University men's tennis team was eliminated from the four-team Ohio Independent Championships tournament in first-round action on Thursday as the #3 seeded Pioneers lost a 5-0 decision to top-seeded Cedarville University. With the loss, Malone closed out the year with a 1-16 overall record while Cedarville improved to 10-13 overall.
