Men's Tennis Loses 9-0 Decision At Home To Cedarville

Junior Andrew Rearick lost a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 decision to his #5 singles opponent and lost another close match at #3 doubles (with teammate Michael Berry) by the score of 8-6. Malone lost the match to Cedarville 9-0.


In a match that was moved indoors to the Towpath Tennis Center in Akron, Ohio due to rainy conditions, the Malone University men's tennis team lost a home contest to Cedarville University by the score of 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Nate Davis, at #1 singles, and Andrew Rearick, at # 5 singles, gave strong efforts but came up just short in identical 6-4, 7-6 losses to their opponents.

In addition, Rearick and his #3 doubles partner, Michael Berry, came the closest to a doubles victory in a narrow 8-6 loss.
