Pioneer Men's Tennis Loses Final Match At Hilton Head In 7-2 Contest Against Trine (IN)

Junior Nate Davis picked up another #1 singles victory against his opponent from Trine (IN) University. Malone lost the overall match by a score of 7-2.


Competing in its final match of a spring break trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina on Thursday, the Malone men's tennis team lost a 7-2 contest to Trine (IN) University.  With the setback, Malone now stands at 1-10 overall on the season while Trine improved to 6-2 for the year.

Nate Davis, playing at #1 singles, earned yet another singles win on the season with a hard-fought 6-3, 6-7, 1-0 victory. In addition, Alex Steinmetz and Brett Krejci, playing at #2 doubles, also posted a victory.
