Men's Tennis Loses 7-2 To Northwestern (MN) In First Hilton Head Match

Junior Alex Steinmetz (above) teamed with Brett Krejci at #2 doubles to earn one of two Malone wins in a match against Northwester (MN) on Monday. The Pioneers lost the overall match by a score of 7-2.


In its first match during a spring break trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina on Monday, the Malone University men's tennis team lost a 7-2 contest to Northwestern (MN) College.  With the loss, the Pioneers fell to 0-9 for the 2011-12 year while the Eagles improved to 2-3.

The #1 doubles team of Nate Davis and Joss Celuch along with the #2 doubles squad of Alex Steinmetz and Brett Krejci earned the two victories for Malone. Both tandems won by the same score of 9-7.
