Malone Notes – A 35-yard field goal with five seconds remaining lifted Saint Ambrose (IA) University to a 24-22 victory over Malone last Saturday at Fawcett Stadium…The Pioneers had fought back from a 21-7 deficit, taking a 22-21 midway through the fourth quarter before the Bees' put together a late drive that culminated with the game-winning kick….Over the next five weeks, Malone will take on the teams ranked first, second and third in the most recent NAIA National Poll, beginning with #3 Marian…Through the first three weeks of the season, the Pioneers rank sixth out of the MSFA's 19 teams in total offense with an average of 396.7 yards per game….Malone also ranks fourth in the MSFA in passing offense with an average of 227 yards through the air per outing.
