Malone Men's Tennis Drops 9-0 Decision To University Of Findlay

Sophomore Alex Steinmetz (and teammate Hunter Atkins) came the closest to pulling out a win in their 8-6 #2 doubles loss to the University of Findlay on Saturday. Steinmetz also won the most games against his singles opponents, with six games, at #4 singles.

The Malone University men's tennis team lost a 9-0 decision to the visiting University of Findlay Oilers on Saturday at the Towpath Racquet Club in Akron, Ohio. With the loss, the Pioneers dropped to 0-3 on the season while the Oilers improved to 1-1 on the year.

Both the #1 and #2 doubles teams for the Pioneers nearly pulled off victories, losing 8-5 and 8-6 respectively, while the Oilers earned straight set wins in each of the six singles contests.
