Women's Golf Finishes In Eighth At NCCAA National Invitational

Natalie Reddaway again paced Malone with a day two score of 83 to finish at 172 (89-83) overall. She finished in a tie for 12th among 41 golfers.


Final Results

The Malone University women's golf team finished eighth among an eight-team field at the NCCAA National Invitational on Tuesday. At the par 72, 5830-yard Hombre Golf Course in Panama City, Florida, the Pioneers fired a day two score of 346, 34 strokes better than their first day score of 380, to finish with a final tally of 726.

Dallas Baptist (TX) University won the tournament with a score of 642 (325-317) while California Baptist University finished as the runners-up with a 652 (325-327). Bethel (IN) College took third at 666 (329-337), Colorado Christian University placed fourth at 693 (351-342) and Campbellsville (KY) University rounded out the top five at 696 (353-343).

Natalie Reddaway led Malone for the second day in a row as she fired a team-best round of 83. With a final +28 score of 172 (89-83), Reddaway finished in a tie for 12th among the 41 golfers in the field. Maggie Reiman carded a round of 87 and finished at 183 (96-87), Abby Froman posted an 88 and closed at 185 (97-88), Heather Evanich tallied an 88 and posted a 191 (103-88) total, and Alicia Kindig scored a 110 on day two and finished at 208 (98-110) overall.

With the conclusion of the NCCAA national event, the team has completed its fall campaign.
