Eric Hehman is in his first season as the Pioneers' head coach after spending the last five years as the head coach at NCAA Division III Greenville (IL) College. Overall, Hehman tallied a 28-22 record at Greenville, leading the Panthers to a 7-3 record in 2009 and a berth in the NCCAA Victory Bowl.
Olivet Nazarene –
Don Lee is in his second season at Olivet Nazarene after having led the Tigers to a 2-9 mark in 2009. Prior to arriving at Olivet, Lee compiled a 19-25 record in four years as the head coach at Belhaven (MS) College.

The Pioneers fell at home to NAIA No. 12 Marian (IN) University last week by a final score of 28-7 as the Knights used four second-quarter touchdown passes to build a 25-0 halftime lead…Malone currently ranks fourth in the 16-team MSFA (11th overall in the NAIA) in rushing offense with an average of 227.9 yards per game…The Pioneer defense tallied six sacks against Marian, giving the squad 22 on the year…Malone's average of 2.4 sacks per game ranks third in the conference and 17th overall in the NAIA.

The Tigers fell on the road to Taylor (IN) University on Saturday by a final score of 40-13…The Trojans intercepted three passes in the game while limiting Olivet Nazarene to just 22 rushing yards on 29 attempts…The Tigers rank sixth in the MSFA (22nd in the NAIA) in passing with an average of 233 yards per game…However, ONU has struggled to slow down opposing offenses this year as the squad has surrendered an average of 45.3 points and 467 total yards per outing.
