Coaches:
Malone – Eric Hehman is in his first season as the Pioneers' head coach after spending the last five years as the head coach at NCAA Division III Greenville (IL) College. Overall, Hehman tallied a 28-22 record at Greenville, leading the Panthers to a 7-3 record in 2009 and a berth in the NCCAA Victory Bowl.

Olivet Nazarene – Don Lee is in his second season at Olivet Nazarene after having led the Tigers to a 2-9 mark in 2009. Prior to arriving at Olivet, Lee compiled a 19-25 record in four years as the head coach at Belhaven (MS) College.

Malone Notes:
The Pioneers fell at home to NAIA No. 12 Marian (IN) University last week by a final score of 28-7 as the Knights used four second-quarter touchdown passes to build a 25-0 halftime lead…Malone currently ranks fourth in the 16-team MSFA (11th overall in the NAIA) in rushing offense with an average of 227.9 yards per game…The Pioneer defense tallied six sacks against Marian, giving the squad 22 on the year…Malone's average of 2.4 sacks per game ranks third in the conference and 17th overall in the NAIA.

Malone players to watch:
RB Markus McFolling needs 134 more rushing yards to become the fifth Pioneer to run for 1000 yards in a single season…Through Malone's first nine games, the senior has piled up 866 rushing yards on 164 attempts (5.3 average) with seven touchdowns…McFolling's average of 96.2 yards per game ranks third in the MSFA and 17th overall in the NAIA… QB Mike Karls has completed 38 of 90 pass attempts on the year for 670 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions…Karls is also the second-leading rusher on the team with 299 yards on 89 attempts (3.4 average), including a long run of 45 yards and one rushing TD…WR Matt Kiel has pulled in 17 catches for 317 yards and three scores, including a 70-yard TD grab against Marian last week… On the defensive side of the ball, DL Cody Carroll had a huge impact a week ago, tallying five tackles for loss and three sacks while also forcing a fumble and blocking a field goal…Carroll currently ranks second in the NAIA with 10.5 sacks while also ranking eighth in the country with 15.5 tackles for loss…On the year, Carroll has posted 49 total tackles and forced two fumbles…LB Antonio Scassa paces the squad with 59 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack…Scassa has also forced a fumble and intercepted a pass …DB Lepear Smith has scored three special teams touchdowns this season, crossing the goal line with two blocked punt returns and one fumble recovery.

Olivet Nazarene Notes:
The Tigers fell on the road to Taylor (IN) University on Saturday by a final score of 40-13…The Trojans intercepted three passes in the game while limiting Olivet Nazarene to just 22 rushing yards on 29 attempts…The Tigers rank sixth in the MSFA (22nd in the NAIA) in passing with an average of 233 yards per game…However, ONU has struggled to slow down opposing offenses this year as the squad has surrendered an average of 45.3 points and 467 total yards per outing.

QB Christian Dobbs has completed 151 of 271 pass attempts this season (55.7%) for 1651 yards with seven touchdowns and 16 interceptions…WR Joshua Howells has pulled in 55 catches for 506 yards and a touchdown…WR Josh Long has caught 34 passes for a team-high 518 yards and five touchdowns…RB A.C. Collier has gained 149 rushing yards on 78 attempts with one TD while also posting 37 pass receptions for 405 yards and two touchdowns…LB Joe Carter Jr. has notched 125 total tackles on the year with 12.5 tackles for loss and four pass break-ups…Carter's average of 12.5 tackles per game leads the MSFA and ranks third overall in the NAIA… LB Nathan Schott has tallied 78 total tackles with five tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries, one he returned 94 yards for a touchdown…LB Nate Legacy follows closely with 77 total tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery...DL Marty Pritchett paces the squad with 6.5 total sacks…DB Demetrius Brown ranks 11th in the NAIA with five interceptions.
