Malone University Athletics

Duke Taylor, of East Canton (East Canton H.S.) and a member of the men’s track & field team, recently posted a personal best in the discus at the Ashland University Alumni Meet last weekend. 

In the Elite discus event at Ashland, Taylor heaved the discus an impressive 171’ 9”, which was the fourth-best mark ever in the 50+ year history of the Pioneer program.  The distance is also currently the 13^th-best in NCAA Div. II and a national provisional qualifying mark.
