Tarter, a senior from Mogadore, Ohio (Mogadore H.S.), helped lead the Malone men’s golf team to a GLIAC Championship, among a 14-team field, at the three-day event  October 5-7 in Bath, Michigan. 

At the Eagle Eye Golf Course, Tarter tied for third among 70 golfers in the field with a total score of 224 (75-77-72) to pace the Pioneers, in their first-ever conference title bid, to a one-stroke victory, at 903, over runners-up Ashland University and Ohio Dominican University.
