Dwyer, a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada, took part in three of six Malone men’s school records that were broken during two dual meets last weekend.
At Urbana University on Friday, Dwyer posted a new school record in the 200 freestyle by powering through the water in a time of 1:53.30. Then, at the College of Wooster on Friday, he pocketed a new Malone record in the grueling 1000 freestyle in 10:33.08 before taking part in the 400 freestyle relay that clocked a school-record time of 3:24.02. He also had several other first-place finishes on the weekend as well.
