Sharp,a 5'5" guard, helped the Pioneer women's basketball team tally a 2-0 record last week after averaging 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
The senior from East Canton, Ohio provided a big lift off the bench in both of Malone’s home victories. Sharp posted 10 points, four rebounds and three assists in a thrilling 48-47 triumph over Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College on Friday evening. She then tossed in 16 points and handed out three assists in just 13 minutes of action on Saturday afternoon during the Pioneers’ convincing 72-53 win over Houghton (NY) College.
On the week, Sharp drained eight of 12 (66.7%) shots from the field, including six of nine attempts from beyond the three-point arc (66.7%). She also sank all four of her free throws.
