Reilly Tyna has received the distinction for the first time in his career representing Malone University baseball.

In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or higher and at least a sophomore academically. On top of academic achievements, the CSC also has athletic nomination criteria for participation and high-level success in a given sport.
Tyna, a first baseman and outfielder from Medina, Ohio, was a staple in the Malone lineup in the midst of a 24-24 campaign. He appeared in 42 games and made 41 starts on the diamond. He was second on the team with 206 putouts on the year. At the plate, Tyna was second overall with a .383 batting average with 35 runs, 10 doubles and 38 RBIs. He drew 28 walks and was credited with a team-high six sacrifice flies and was 9-for-14 on steal attempts. Â
