GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has announced the All-American award winners from the 2026 baseball season. The Malone University baseball team had two members chosen as NCCAA All-Americans in
Shane Coblentz (First Team) and
Doran Mast (Second Team). It is the first All-American award for each of them in their careers.

The Pioneers made significant improvements in 2026 and held a record of 24-24 overall. These student-athletes combined to lead Malone in the batter's box, in the field and on the pitching mound.

Coblentz, a freshman pitcher and utility player from Holmesville, Ohio, was effective on the bump with a 4.83 ERA and a team-high six pitching wins. He threw four complete games and recorded one save in 63.1 innings. His 59 strikeouts tied for the team lead on the pitching staff. Coblentz was also an every day hitter on top of his 16 appearances as a pitcher. He batted .326 with 36 RBIs and a Malone-best 16 doubles. He drew the most walks on the team (30) and was 17-for-18 on his stolen base attempts.

The sophomore infielder Mast batted .400 in 40 games played this season and had a season-long OPS of 1.010. He tallied 54 hits, 33 runs scored and 28 RBIs for 71 total bases. The Dundee, Ohio native was 10-of-13 on stolen base tries for the Pioneers. Mast had a .966 fielding percentage with 53 putouts and 87 assists, a mark that led the team. He was a part of 14 double plays.
