INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Jackson Phelps of the Malone University baseball team has been selected as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Pitcher of the Week in the South Division. 

The senior from Medina, Ohio led the Pioneers with seven innings pitched and five strikeouts when he threw against Walsh University. Phelps overcame a rocky start and threw five consecutive scoreless innings to give Malone a chance for the win in the late stages of the game. He allowed five hits, five runs, four earned runs and four walks. It is his third straight appearance going seven or more innings on the bump.
