Bryce Conn Joins Sports Information Staff

08/25/25

CANTON, Ohio - Malone University's sports information department has announced the hiring of Bryce Conn as a graduate assistant beginning in the 2025-2026 season.

Conn returns to Malone University after earning a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Coaching in the fall of 2024. Prior to joining the staff, Conn was a member of the Pioneers' men's lacrosse team both as a player and as an student assistant coach. Since graduating, Conn has become an assistant coach at Louisville High School for their boy's lacrosse team. He has been giving back to the lacrosse community by coaching and helping high school players develop their skills and abilities on and off the field. He was also a substitute teacher at Louisville Middle School prior to joining the staff.

"I am very excited to continue my education at Malone University," Conn said. "It's been amazing so far that I've been able to be back on campus seeing my former coach and teammates while earning my MBA at the school that I've been able to call home for the past years. Being around the staff already while I was earning my Bachelor's has truly helped me transition into this role knowing what they expect from me already and having that close connection with everyone in the Athletic Department."

"Bringing Bryce back to Malone will be huge for our department," Sports Information Director Matthew Kennell stated. "His knowledge of the sport of lacrosse and how we operate on a day-to-day basis as a staff will be critical to our success."
