CANTON, Ohio - The Malone University Athletics Department is proud to announce the date and time for the 2026 Pioneer Classic. This year's Pioneer Classic will take place on Monday, May 18 at Glenmoor Country Club and will begin at 12:00 P.M. with check-in and lunch.
 
Proceeds from this event support the revitalization effort for Hal Smith Court, named after the winningest basketball coach in Malone history. Osborne Hall, built in 1960, is the host site for men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and STUNT.
 
The plan includes a redesign of the layout, logos, court lines, and signage in Osborne Hall with the intent to capture the energy and appeal of the 1,200-seat gymnasium.
