CANTON, Ohio - The Malone University Athletics Department has announced the addition of
Heather Papp as the Assistant Compliance Officer. Papp is an alumna of Malone and graduated with Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and Sport Management in 2016. She went on to do graduate school at Kansas State University where she earned her Master's Degree in Counseling and Student Development.

"I'm excited to return to Malone and join the athletic department in a new capacity," Papp said. "As a former student-athlete and experienced college athletics professional, I have a great appreciation for working with college athletes and supporting their success during this transformational time in their lives. I look forward to collaborating with coaches, staff, and campus partners to further Malone's mission while contributing to a positive and meaningful experience for our student-athletes."

Prior to her return to Malone, Papp gained experience at The Ohio State University as the Senior Academic Counselor. She helped to support the women's lacrosse and swimming & diving programs and provided resources to student-athletes for academic success. Papp also has work experience at Ohio University as an Academic Coordinator, where she focused on NCAA Eligibility and Student-Athlete Success. Papp served as a graduate assistant during her time at Kansas State where she assisted in Student-Athlete Services and monitored eligibility and academic progress of the baseball, women's golf, rowing, soccer, track & field, and cross-country teams.
