GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has unveiled the 2026 Scholar Team recipients from the winter and spring sports seasons. Four programs from Malone University were chosen as Scholar Teams, including men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and women's outdoor track & field.
 
To be eligible for this award, teams need a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team. 43 programs from 19 different NCCAA institutions were listed as Scholar Teams for the 2025-26 winter and 2026 spring seasons. 
 
In 2025, Malone women's basketball, softball and women's outdoor track & field received the NCCAA Scholar Team distinction. Men's basketball has received the award for the first time during the 2025-26 season.
