CANTON, Ohio – The Malone University women's soccer team enters their sixth season under Head Coach
Bailey Shattell in 2025 and the team recently released their schedule for the year. The Pioneers look to build upon last season's 9-8-1 mark where the program reached the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship Tournament.
Malone begins the season with three non-conference games. On September 4, the team hosts Davis & Elkins College, then travels to Clarion University for a match on September 6 and returns home for a contest versus Seton Hill University on September 10.
G-MAC play starts with a road game at Thomas More University on September 18 followed by four straight at Pioneer Park. Malone will do battle with Tiffin University (September 20), Lake Erie College (September 25), Cedarville University (September 27) and Kentucky Wesleyan College (October 2) during that time. The Pioneers will celebrate their senior class prior to the start of their match versus Cedarville.
The Pioneers are on the road for a brief spell against Ashland University on October 4 and Ohio Dominican University on October 9 before the 2025 Homecoming & Family Weekend match on October 11. This year's match means even more against rival Walsh University. The team will remain at home for their next game against the University of Findlay as well on October 16.
Malone will face challenges on the road in four of their final five regular season matchups. The Pioneers venture to Ursuline College on October 18 prior to their last home match of the year against Ohio Dominican on October 23. Lake Erie is the team's next opponent on October 25 followed by Northwood University on October 30 and the final regular season contest at Walsh on November 4.
