ASHLAND, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships got underway on Wednesday afternoon at Ashland University. The Malone University track & field just missed scoring on several events.
 
In the 10,000-meter run, Alex Hill was 10th overall with a time of 31:33.66. In the women's race, Kylee Gray was 12th at 39:32.69. The Pioneers also participated in the hammer throw. Obed West led the team with a best toss of 43.50 meters (142' 8.00"), good for 21st. Jaclyn Jundzilo was 29th in the women's event at 33.74 meters (110' 8.00").
