FLORENCE, Ind. – At the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Golf Championships at the Belterra Resort, the Malone University women's golf team is ninth through the first day of competition. The University of Findlay is in cruise control thus far atop the leaderboard. Inclement weather halted play in the middle of the second round of the 54-hole event.
Erin Strouse shot an 80 in round one with a pair of birdies on her scorecard. She is currently 22nd through 30 holes on the playerboard. Behind her was
Addison Burris at 88 and
Maria Warner with a 90.
The final two members of the team were
Kaylyn Henson and
Claire Hostetler. Henson completed the first round at 92 and Hostetler carded a 93.
Play will resume in the midst of round two on Friday, April 25 at 7:45 A.M.
