GROVE CITY, Ohio - The Malone University women's golf team was in action on Monday in round one of the NC4K Classic at the Pinnacle Golf Club. The Pioneers are 11th on the leaderboard after 18 holes at 354. Ashland University is atop the team standings with a first round 318.
 
Erin Strouse is 27th individually after she tallied an 83 on Monday. Addison Burris and Claire Hostetler are tied after they both scored a 90. One back of them at 91 sits Maria Warner. Kaylyn Henson finished the day with a 98.
 
Second round tee times will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 7 due to morning frost.
