CANTON, Ohio – The 2025 Mayor's Cup Challenge has begun and Malone University is asking you for help to beat our rivals to the north, Walsh University.
 
The Mayor's Cup Challenge is a friendly competition to collect the most donations for our institutions prior to the annual basketball game between the two schools. This year marks the 29th annual women's Mayor's Cup game and the 61st men's contest. On February 11, the women take the court at 5:30 P.M. and the men at 7:30 P.M. The winners of the Mayor's Cup Challenge will be announced at halftime of the men's game.
