PALM COAST, Fla. – Round two of the NCCAA Women's Golf Championships took place on Tuesday, October 22 and the Malone University women's golf team held steady in third place on the team leaderboard.
The Pioneers shot a 323 on Tuesday and are currently at 645 (322-323) total strokes. Grace College (635) cut into the lead by Bethel University (630) by picking up six strokes in round two. Malone is still in striking distance for the national championship, but they would have to make up at least 15 strokes on the leaders.
Junior
Erin Strouse is still inside the top-5 with a total score of 157 (78-79). Strouse posted back-to-back birdies on holes 14 and 15 to highlight her day. The lowest score for the Pioneers in round two belonged to
Maria Warner. The sophomore is seventh at 158 (80-78) and rounded out her afternoon with a birdie on hole 18.

Addison Burris and junior
Savanna Porter had the same score on Tuesday with 83's. Burris' two-day total is 167 (84-83) and Porter 173 (90-83). Porter's birdie on hole 11 is the first of the championship. Freshman
Claire Hostetler has a 164 (80-84) through 36 holes. She had a birdie on hole 16.

The NCCAA Women's Golf Championships conclude on Wednesday, October 23 at the Hammock Beach Resort - Ocean Course.
