Columbus, Ohio -- A portion of the Malone University men's and women's track & field team competed at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio on Friday and Saturday.

Men's Highlights
Hayden Schmidt, Tucker Markko, and Josiah Hicks clocked times of 3:56.67, 4:01.20, and 4:04.10, respectively in the 1500-meter run. Schmidt's effort passed his previous season best time.

Manamanya Opiew ran a time of 1:56.16 in the 800-meter run.

Lane Goble competed in the 5000-meter run. Goble finished the race with a personal best time of 14:56.74.

What's Next?
On Friday, April 21, the Pioneers will compete in the Walsh Tune-Up hosted by the Walsh University.
