Lewisburg, Pennsylvania -- A portion of the Malone University men's track & field team competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Men's Highlights
In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Lane Goble ran a personal best time of 9:31.98. 

Manamanya Opiew finished the unseeded 1500-meter run in 4:01.93.

Josiah Hicks and Tucker Markko both competed in the unseeded 5000-meter run. Hicks clocked a time of 15:16.11, and Markko crossed the finish line at 15:29.23, surpassing his career best.

In the 5000-meter run invite, Hayden Schmidt was able to run a 14:42.97 race, giving him 50th place.

Chase Balko competed in the unseeded 10000-meter run and was able to run it in 32:36.49. 

Max Gucker ran in the 10000-meter run invite and clocked a time of 31:45.77. 

What's Next?
The Pioneers will travel to two different meets next weekend. A portion of the team will travel to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio for the Jesse Owens Classic on Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22. The rest of the team will go to Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio for the Otterbein Twilight on Friday, April 21.
