Tiffin, Ohio -- The majority of the Malone University men's and women's track & field team competed at the Tiffin Track Carnival in Tiffin, Ohio on Friday.

Women's Highlights
Rylee Yocum (5th) clocked a personal best time of 4:48.66 in the 1500-meter run championship.

Anna Gregg competed in the 800-meter run. She crossed the finish line at 2:24.34, resulting in a 10th place finish.

In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Sabrina McClain ran a time of 11:40.67, giving her a third place finish.

Ella Pumneo placed third in the 5000-meter run championship with a time of 18:03.25.

Rebekah Stoneman ran a career best time of 1:12.49 in the 400-meter hurdles.

For Jumping, Megan Reifsnyder marked a distance of 4.80 meters in the long jump.

Men's Highlights
In the 1500-meter run championship, Preston Jackson finished 23rd with a time of 4:06.78. 

In the 800-meter run, Tyler Twining finished third with a season best time of 1:55.43.

Phil Stupka competed in the 400-meter run. Stupka finished the race with a time of 51.82 seconds. 

In the jumping events, Collin McClure jumped a distance of 12.50 meters in the triple jump.

What's Next?
The Pioneers will travel to two different meets next weekend. A portion of the team will travel to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio for the Jesse Owens Classic on Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22. The rest of the team will go to Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio for the Otterbein Twilight on Friday, April 21.
