INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- On Monday, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
For the third time this season, Malone University senior
Alexis Hutchison was named the Great Midwest Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week after her performance in a pair of Pioneer wins last week.
Thursday night at Ursuline Hutchison helped lead Malone to a 67-59 win with a game-high 22 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
On Saturday she helped push the Pioneers' road winning streak out to eight games with a 16 point, 3 rebound, 6 assist, and 2 steal performance in the 88-60 win over Northwood.
