Canton, OH-- Head Coach Bill Eddins is excited to announce the latest addition to the women's golf squad at Malone University, John Glenn senior Addison Burris. Burris brings an impressive academic and golf resume to the program.

Addy is the reigning back-to-back Eastern District Player of the Year and 1st Team member. This fall, Addy was MVL (Muskingum Valley League) Medalist and All-MVL Tournament Team player for the second consecutive year. She set the record for Lowest Stroke Average. (37.5) in school history.

Addy is an All-Ohio Academic Award Winner, Scholar-Athlete, and 4-year Varsity Award winner. Additionally, she was selected as the winner of John Glenn's coveted Roger Bates Award, given to the student-athlete who most exemplifies dedication to sport and is awarded to one athlete per sport each year.

Eddins shared, "We are so excited to have Addy join our program. She is an exceptional student and an outstanding young golfer that is going to make us better. She is an excellent fit for our university and our team."

Burris will major in Malone's outstanding nursing program. She is the daughter of Erin and Denny Burris of Cambridge, Ohio.
