Youngstown, Ohio -- The Malone University men's and women's track & field team competed at the YSU Collegiate Invitational in Youngstown, Ohio on Friday. 

Women's Highlights
In the mile run, Rylee Yocum placed 13th with a personal best time of 5:15.37.

Anna Gregg (13th) finished the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.22.

Ella Pumneo placed 14th in the 3000-meter run, clocking a career best time of 10:35.13.

Men's Highlights
In the mile run, Hayden Schmidt was the 13th runner to cross the finish line, finishing with a time of 4:20.26. Tucker Markko followed behind with a personal best time of 14:22.15 that got him a 18th place finish. 

Eric Dehmer (12th) and Tucker Markko (13th), finished the 800-meter run with times of 1:59.06 and 1:59.23, respectively.

Receiving a time of 15:28.38, Chase Balko placed fifth in the 5000-meter run. 

Manamanya Opiew placed 10th overall in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:43.64. 

Chris Beemiller finished 14th overall in the weight throw with a distance of 14.55 meters. Beemiller also competed in the shot put and threw a distance of 14.23 meters, giving him a 14th place finish.

What's Next?
On Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28, the Pioneers will compete in the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic hosted by Hillsdale College.
