COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Still down a handful of lineup regulars, the Malone University men's soccer team put on a strong defensive game against Ohio Dominican.
The Pioneer defense held their own for most of the evening, including some amazing saves by
Quincy Scott, however ODU's offense proved to be too much in the end.
The Panthers scored one goal in the first half in the 1-0 win.

THE MATCH
The Panthers came out swinging with ten shots in the first half but thanks to Malone's defense and
Quincy Scott, only one goal was conceded in the last 5 minutes of the half.
Malone's defense slowed down Ohio Dominican's offense in the second half.
Although the Pioneer men struggled on offense, their defense put up a shut out the rest of the game.
Unfortunately, the final score still held1-0 in favor of the Panthers

Scott came away with four saves compared to Ohio Dominican's three.
Malone had five total shots with three being on target.

The Pioneers travel to back to campus to play Kentucky Wesleyan College this Saturday at King Field
