TIFFIN, Ohio -- The Malone University men's and women's track & field team competed at the Tiffin University Open in Tiffin, Ohio on Friday.

Men's Highlights
In the long jump, freshman Davion Winston finished 12th with a distance of 6.11 meters. 

In the throwing events, Chris Beemiller placed ninth in the shot put with a distance of 14.90 meters and 14th in the weight throw with a distance of 15.40 meters. 

Women's Highlights
Junior Taylor Walls finished 12th overall in the weight throw with a distance of 13.36 meters. 

Onto the distance events, Sophomore Kaelyn Jones competed in the 1 mile run and placed second, clocking in a personal best time of 5:35.82. 

Trinitie Woolace received a third place finish with a time of 11:34.61 in the 3000-meter run.

What's Next?
On Friday, January 20, Malone will compete in the YSU Collegiate Invitational hosted by Youngstown State University.
