Great Midwest Athletic Conference Release
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- On Monday the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the Men's Golf Athletes of the Week.
Malone University graduate student
Connor Curry was named the Great Midwest Athlete of the Week after his outstanding performance last week for the Pioneers.
Curry's strong start to the 2022-23 season continued at the Kyle Ryman Memorial Invite by winning medalist honors. Over the course of the 54 holes Curry made 16 total birdies and one eagle to finish with a score of 210 (-6). His score beat the next closest golfer by three strokes.
That same performance also earned Curry the
NCCAA Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week award.
