Joshua Easley is a senior high hurdler and sprinter on the Malone University track & field team from Berea, Ohio and Berea-Midpark High School.
Josh earned G-MAC All-Freshman Team acclaim during his first season at Malone after placing fourth in the 55-meter hurdles at the G-MAC Championship. He also scored in the high jump to help the Malone men claim the team Championship.
Josh's favorite memory was being the first-ever team from Malone to win a G-MAC Conference Championship.
During the outdoor season that spring, he posted the third-fastest time in the conference in the 110 hurdles. After redshirting in 2017-18, he hit a PR in the 60 hurdles at the 2019 G-MAC Indoor Championships. His 8.37 time ranks eighth all-time in the Pioneer record books.
Josh, who may return to run again next season, majors in Sport Management at Malone and has made the Dean's List. He has also been involved with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee or SAAC.
In the future, Josh plans to coach track & field.
