The Malone University baseball team will take part in the 72nd annual edition of Baseball Week hosted by Rollins College as part of its spring break trip this week in Winter Park, Florida. Beginning on Thursday, March 5th, the Pioneers are slated to play six games over five days, including a doubleheader on Monday March 9th. Malone went 8-3 over 11 games at Baseball Week in 2019.

Malone Notes
- The Pioneers are off to a 5-1 start on the season, including four wins over West Liberty in the first two weekends. In the six contests, Malone starting pitching has sported a sparkling 1.91 ERA.
- Two-time G-MAC Pitcher of the Week Eric Mullet is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched. Clyde Yoder (1-1, 1.80 ERA, 12 K, 10 IP) and Tommy Walker (1-0, 3.75 ERA, 14K, 12 IP) look to already be in 2019 form when they ranked among the G-MAC's best.
- Offensively, Malone has five players hitting .290 or better. Turner Hill (.444) leads the Pioneers with eight hits while Evan Balzano is batting .375 and Joe Crank is at an even .300.
- Nate Cobb (.294 avg) leads the team with eight runs scored and four stolen bases. With 15 stolen bases through six games this season, Malone ranks among the top-20 in NCAA DII in team steals per game.
