Malone Notes
- The Pioneers stretched their winning streak to six straight with a doubleheader sweep of rival Walsh on Wednesday, picking up 2-0 & 14-13 victories.
- Starting pitchers Eric Mullet (3-2, 2.88 ERA, 35 K, 40.2 IP) and Clyde Yoder (5-1, 3.45 ERA, 35 K, 28.2 IP) each earned winning decisions in the twinbill. Yoder leads the G-MAC in wins while Mullet leads the conference in innings pitched and is sixth in ERA.
- Tommy Walker (2-0, 1.91 ERA, 21 K, 28.1 IP) and Christian Specht (2-1, 2.57 ERA) are first and third in the G-MAC in ERA, respectively, and round out one of the best starting rotations in the Midwest Region.
- The Pioneer staff currently leads the G-MAC and is fourth in the Midwest in team ERA and ranks second in the G-MAC in WHIP. Malone is 15-2 this season when opponents score five runs or fewer.
- Offensively, Malone is third in the G-MAC in hitting and fourth in scoring.

- Gingerich, rightfielder Turner Hill, and centerfielder Jacob Mottice are tied for the team lead (4th in the G-MAC) with 22 runs scored. Hill also leads Malone with a .320 batting average and ranks third in the conference with 32 hits.
