Goldsmith & Nimsuwan Join Men’s Golf Program

Malone men's golf head coach Ken Hyland is pleased to announce that Tuscarawas Valley High School's Brandon Goldsmith and Strongsville High School's Matthew Nimsuwan will attend the University in the fall of 2019 and compete for the Pioneers.

14610Goldsmith (pictured at top with his parents Michelle and Brian) has been a member of the Trojan golf, basketball and baseball teams during his high school career.  He is a three-time all-conference selection on the golf course, having earned Second Team recognition from both the Principals Athletic Conference and the Inter-Valley Conference.  Goldsmith was also twice named to the Eastern District Team and was a First Team All-County selection.  He was also recognized in basketball as a member of the Eastern District Honorable Mention Team.  An Honor Roll student, Goldsmith plans to major in Psychology and minor in Biology at Malone.









14609Nimsuwan (pictured above with his father Nick) is a four-year member of the Strongsville golf team and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2018 Greater Cleveland Conference Championship.  He placed first, second or third at 10 of 12 tournaments this past year and captured medalist honors at this fall's Division I Sectional Tournament with a round of 74.  Nimsuwan then tied for eighth overall at the Northeast Division I District Tournament with a 75.  He was a member of the GCC All-Conference Team and owns the Strongsville High School nine-hole scoring record (30).  Nimsuwan plans to major in Business Administration at the University.
