G-MAC Women's Soccer All-Conference Team

Malone University sophomore Natalie Martorana has been named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Honorable Mention Team

Martorana, from Adlai Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan, was one of 13 women's soccer student-athletes to receive the conference's Honorable Mention distinction when the G-MAC announced its postseason awards on Wednesday night.

Martorana started all 16 games for the Pioneers this past season and ranked second on the team in minutes played with 1,303.  She was a key component of a Malone defense that recorded three shutouts and limited opponents to 1.38 goals per game, the sixth-best defensive average in the G-MAC. 

The Pioneers won three out of their final four games and ended the year with a 5-9-2 overall record under first-year head coach Lauren Lindesmith.
